well that was dire, a terrible performance by the team, slightly better second half with the much needed subs that came on, but still it was painful to watch, these are the players we have, and we have to work with them over the coming months in training, and try to improve, we have no budget to attract the better players so what can we do?. Isn't this season about getting the new Fisher established as a club , yes we know that we are not going to content things at the top of this league, and could well finish in the bottom half,(in fact we probably will on that performance). We are not going to get back to how we were 2 years ago in one season, this is a work in progress. Bring on Sporting Begal.

Best if I say as little as possible but we're all hurting after Saturday's defeat. Gallow's humour on the terraces can only go so far .... Hythe Town away is probably the hardest game we'll have all year. I think there is a big gulf in class within this division much like the Premiership. You've got four/five/six clubs that court Ryman football and then you've got the rest - and then us. We know where we want to take the club, on and off the field, but to achieve it will require a lot of dedication and bloody hard work - and yes we'll need to endure a few beatings along the way but we'll get there.

Looking at the other results, Corinthian lost 2-0 at Beckenham whilst Erith and Belvedere won 3-1 against Deal Town. I think that we've got two winnable games coming up - let's see where we are Monday tea time.
That said... Sporting Bengal - some of whom would've been fasting - won at Norton Sports! Which places us in a heady 16th place... out of 16.
