Fish finally gained a point at home sharing the spoils with Sporting Bengal. Could and should really have been three but shouldn't be gready, hopefully a result and performance we can build on as the team try and put poor form and a run of poor results behind them.
Luke Coleman slowly growing into his role as main striker with a brace for the club. Good finish for the first lifting it over the keeper and a well taken pen five minutes from time when Elstrom was felled in the box. As for Sporting Bengal, pretty decent team. Shortest keeper ever to be seen at Champion Hill (5'5) - couldn't have been no taller than that but to be fair had a solid game and their forward one of the tallest players seen down at the Hill, 6'7 at least.
Sportings first goal - good cross and header, second was an own goal - defensive mix up but to be fair Fish defended better yesterday and the team looked more solid.
As for side changes, Wayne Grant and Tasser Hassan have joined Harlow Town in the Ryman North. Although Fish have gained a new forward from the Holmesdale debacle, Sam May who has played for V.C.D and Holmesdale in the Kent League. Had a pretty quiet debut but had a pretty sweet first touch so technically good.
Harringey Borough next stop, surely got to be on!
And don't forget Thursday's Christmas Party, hoping for a good turnout, players and supporters alike.
C'MON THE FISH !!!
